I'm having trouble finding any information on how to debug this.
We have been using the Excel add-in to allow data stewards to administer the MDS entities, and ordinarily this functions fine, but recently I have one entity that doesn't seem to accept changes from the Excel add-in.
After making a change (rows highlighted in red), pressing the publish button does absolutely nothing. There is no annotate dialogue box, but it is certainly enabled. There appears to be no error messages either in the client, or on the server.
Using the web UI works fine for that entity.
I've tried deleting and re-creating the views, re-creating the entire entity, running the purge function and re-populating with a smaller sample set. Nothing seems to work.
Every other entity works fine using the Add-on. Just this one is a mystery.
Anyone come across this problem or have any idea how to diagnose what is going wrong?
