First of all, we are a Microsoft shop running SQL Server 2012 Enterprise.
We've created an MDS model for our Data Governance initiative. One of the meta data attributes assigned to each data entity deals with the data classification assignment applied to the data entity. Our desire is to utilize this information to dynamically insert text into presentations to specify that the document contains sensitive information if a data entity being presented in the document is identified as "Classified".
Has anyone out there tried and/or completed something like this and would be interested in sharing their lessons learned? Also, does anyone have any ideas on how to obtain this goal?
