It was my understanding per this article that Code was not required in the staging table when code values are generated automatically, as I chose when creating the entity in MDM. But, the code column in the staging table doesn't allow NULLs. So, I find that I can't populate the staging table unless I assign an arbitrary value to this column. So much for code values being generated automatically. Easy enough to work around, but am I missing something?
