If you select automatic code creation for an entity, input errors are not prevented from entering the repository - for example if you add a row with invalid data (date field = 'xxxx') in Excel, or in MDS Manager Web Application, the member is created. Moreover, if you do not break any business rules, the record is created with 'Validation Successful', so from the outside it looks like a valid record.
