Hi there,
We are intending to use the Change Tracking feature within MDS to trigger external workflows. To test this functionality, we’ve altered an attribute in an existing entity and defined a business rule to initiate a workflow based on the change tracking group.
We’ve been able to successfully create messages in the microsoft/mdm/queue/externalaction Service Broker queue. However, this only works when the update has been performed manually within the MDS UI and not via a staging table import. I’ve traced the problem to the ChangeTrackingMask field not getting set in the base entity table (eg. tbl_2_81_EN) when the attribute is updated via the staging tables.
Is there a configuration setting that I need to make to get this working with the staging tables?
Please let me know if you require additional details.
Regards,
Michael
